I just finished Trails in the Sky the Third, and I seriously cannot fathom how great and yet unbelievably slept on these games are. I cannot wait to continue on with Zero, especially given that everyone I have spoken to or seen discuss these games usually favor that duology... My hyperfixation is real. Seriously, I have a Google Sheets with currently known Anguis and Enforcers, Sept-Terrions, and the names of you-know-who's plan phases as well as their current statuses just to make sure I'm not missing any foreshadowing or teasers (although I'm sure I'll still find a way to do that).

The beginning slinging us to high levels is awful. I know you're the almost famous person, but you're objecitvely wrong. Players aren't enjoying Al Quelt Moreza like I did or finding amazing items. They're being thrown to lvl 100 and finding the cash shop and mistranslated quests. This game is dead already and it's gonna die even further in the next years and it is sad. But I'm kinda thankful for that because when I restarted in a new server, I wanted something close to the very inspiring experience I had before. And all I found was a jump for a lot of lvls and some gear that cannot be found in the wild because the new developers suck.

My favorite game, there are so many thing I can say. But I gotta say exactly what you said, watching your characters attack in space bar mode was pretty hypnotizing. I could watch them for a long time. I kinda hate that now the style shifted from the Baroque style to generic Korean fashion, most new characters are female and they all have the same Korean surgery face. And they stopped adding recruitable characters and added the loot boxes. It hurt. My heart broke as if it was a romantic relationship when IAH games canceled the SEA version. And I haven't recovered yet.

Story-wise, yeah you are correct, it's better as spin off title. I wish they just continue from where SN 5 left off or maybe just create it from different timeline like in the past before the events of SN 5. Even the partner beast for the MC was too similar, it's boring. Combat wise it's fine, it's just that the summon looks very low effort made compared to the previous series lol.

What the creators should do is get off their freaking lazy asse's and make gifts more attainable. Its literally not possible to get enough gifts to max your boards without this and its utter bullshit.

2:39 2006 and this game had facial acting on point. holy sh!t. look at these guys emoting with their subtle eye movements and stuff, thats pure artistry right there.

I played summon night 5. And not when the psp appeared, but only a year ago on an emulator. And I was actually surprised. Pretty good game. The only thing is, these "JRPG" turn-based battles of yours were just incredibly annoying. I don't know what kind of masochist you have to be to like it. It's a wonder this genre hasn't died yet. On the other hand, the plot and dialogues, although almost nothing serious happened there, are what I liked the most. And I would gladly just turn off battles if there was such an opportunity. Sometimes you want a game with ordinary everyday dialogues/situations (in the conditions of a fantasy/futuristic world) and without these "evil/god/end of the world has appeared again - go save, because you are the chosen one" etc. And I'll say it again, JRPGs and turn-based battles are crap. In the sense of the battles themselves. It's incredibly boring, long and annoying to the point that you just don't want to even play because of the thought that this game has turn-based battles. Bury this genre already, it's enough to beat it with a stick.

Square enix : we are changing the story because it's too dark. Also square enix after the release episode of ardyn : we need to make this story clear , even as dlc (which leads to a dark story anyway. as u can see the choice of ardyn doesn't matter anyway, and either win or lose as final battle, ardyn is still WIN)

its a shame that zestiria has is its flaws. dont get me wrong, its still a decent game, but it could have been a lot better. there only like 1 year difference between the two games, and yet zestiria feels like its half a decade older.

Why not use Holy Light when attacking with Cyrus and Ophilia? Feels like that would deal more damage than the single-hit scholar skills~ (when the opponent is broken, of course, don’t be dumb)
